Elsie B. Gishler

Mrs. Gishler passed away at her home. She had been a resident of Lupton since 1987, formerly of St. Helen. Mrs. Gishler is survived by her husband John Gishler of Lupton, children--Kitty Jakubos of St. Helen, Robert (Shere) Gishler of Ashville, NC., and Cheryl (Russell) Vanalstein of Marine City, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers--Alfred Cummings of Honor and Richard Marsh of New Port Richey, FL., sisters, Edith Loper of Ann Arbor, Patricia Martin of Lakeland, FL., Juanita Shinn of New Orleans, LA., and Vanessa Kochler of Lancaster, CA. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, William, Marvin and Joseph and her brother Ralph (Smiley) Cummings. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday August 19, 2003 from 5-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 12-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Pastors Richard and Barbara Meade will officiate with burial following at Logan Township Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
