Al learned to play guitar and produced a CD of his original lyrics. He had a love of old country music, especially Hank Williams Sr.

Al’s compassion and commitment to his community were further exemplified through his involvement with the Eagles in West Branch, where he served as a past president.

Al is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Lauria, and children, Sherry (Gary) Binder, Jolie (Rich) Nowicki, and Scott (SueAnn) Worden.
