Eleanor Louise Robishaw

Eleanor Robishaw, 85, of Prescott, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her home. Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, she has lived in Prescott, Michigan since 2002. Eleanor was born on December 7, 1927 to the late Clarence & Vera (James) Shepherd. She married Eugene Robishaw on September 19, 1953. She was an active member at Grace Baptist Church in Saginaw and later at Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch. She leaves a wonderful Christian heritage to her family and friends. Eleanor enjoyed sewing, quilting and watching the Detroit Tigers’ baseball games. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Gene Robishaw; daughters, Connie (Chet) Ainsworth of Saginaw, MI; Lori (Rich) Morris of Pontiac, MI; son, Jim (Becky) Robishaw of Jerseyville, IL; her grandchildren Jeremy (Tracy) Ainsworth, Michelle (Devin) Stinson, April Richardson, David (Allie) Robishaw, Emma Miller, Zachery, Brittany and Tony Baker, and 5 great grandchildren. Eleanor also leaves 2 sisters; Fran (Ron) Lipke of White, GA and Phyllis Joy of West Branch, MI; brother-in-law Edward Robishaw, and sister-in-laws Margie Keller and Betty Shepherd, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Bob & Marian Geister. She was predeceased by her parents, son David Robishaw and brother Bob Shepherd. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Tuesday, November 12 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch, MI at 10:00 a.m. with visitation at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Tom Teall will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Youth Fund.
