Edward T. Halligan

March 13, 1926 — February 29, 2004

Mr. Halligan passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He had lived in St. Helen since 1968, formerly of Fenton. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, the American Legion Post #416, the 40/8 and the K of C #8390 all of St. Helen, a member of the 4th Degree All Saints Assembly and the Color Corp of West Branch. He served under General Patten during WWII. Mr. Halligan is survived by his wife Garnet Halligan of St. Helen, children--Terry Halligan and Edward Halligan Jr. both of Mt. Morris, Suzanne Halligan of South Bend, IN and Yvonne Halligan of Flint and a granddaughter, Angelena Bebout of Flint. Also surviving are his sisters, Mary Nelson of Birch Run, Agnes Hempsall of Clio and Clara Wylie of Flint, and his brothers, Patrick Halligan of New Lothrup and Clarence Halligan of Davison. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 3, 2004 at the St. Helen Catholic Church in St. Helen. Fr. James Fitzpatrick will officiate.
