Edward Swiatowy

Edward Swiatowy, age 99 of West Branch, passed away Monday May 2, 2011 at his home. Edward had lived in West Branch for the past 37 years, formerly of Caro and Berkley. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch and Our Lady of LaSallett Church in Berkley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially fly fishing. Survivors include his sons, Richard (Gaile) Swiatowy of White Lake, Ronald Swiatowy and Thomas Swiatowy both of West Branch. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Florence, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. On Friday, Edward will lie in state at Holy Family Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Deacon Glen Painter will officiate with burial following at Holy Family Cemetery.
