Edward D. (The Baker) Bozek

Edward D.(the Baker) Bozek, age 80, of St. Helen, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at his home. He had been a resident of St.Helen since 1976. Ed served in the Merchant Marine during WW II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam era. He was a member of the ushers and men’s club of St. Helen Catholic Church and a member of the St. Helen Radio Watch. Ed was well known for his vegetables and baked goods, he always donated to all of the bake sales in the area. Ed is survived by his wife, Joan of St. Helen, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Antoinette Bozek, his brothers, John, Joseph and Casimer and his sisters, Mary, Helen and Genevieve. Services for Mr. Bozek have been held.
