Edna M. Peters

Edna M. Peters, age 77 of West Branch, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Mrs. Peters had lived in West Branch since 1992, formerly of Gaylord. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, walks, cooking, car rides with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Edna is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gerald Peters of West Branch, children; Gary (Lisa) Peters of Richmond, Jean Peters of St. Helen, Carol (Charles) Pickard of Clinton Township, Linda (Jerry) Burzynski of Midland, Susie (Jim) Kosal of Belding, Ann (Marty) Osantowski of Onaway, Julie Etue of Bay City and Connie (Gary) Wirtz of Freeland, 17 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is 1 brother and 8 sisters. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 2-9 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Deacon Glen Painter will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Bortz Health Care.
