Edna Barbara Gallop

Edna Barbara Gallop, age 93, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at The Villa at West Branch. Edna had lived in West Branch since 1990, formerly of Detroit, MI. She was born to Joseph and Margaretta (Sehi) Schwartz on January 6, 1922 in Cincinnati, OH. Edna was a member at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, cleaning, watching the Detroit Tigers, and her flower garden.

Edna is survived by her sons, Gary (Candy) Gallop of East Jordan, MI, Bruce Gallop of Clinton Township, MI, Kim (Debra) Gallop of Roseville, MI, and Dennis Gallop of West Branch, MI; grandchildren, Leann (Bob) Rachwal of Sterling Heights, MI, Raymond (Liwan) Gallop of Valrico, FL, Marcie (Daniel) Young of Shelby Township, MI, Bryan Gallop of Clawson, MI, and Aaron Gallop of Clinton Township, MI; great grandchildren, Samantha, Joseph, Michael, Mellaine, and Hollie; and sister, Helen (Orval) Zapfe of West Branch, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Gallop.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service held at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Father Patrick Maher will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
