Earl James Campbell

Earl James Campbell, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. He was born on May 28, 1943 in Port Huron, MI to Earl and Edna (Loughren) Campbell. Earl served in the Army National Guard from 1965-1970. On May 7, 1966 he married Penelope Sutton in Dearborn, MI. Earl worked at Ford Motor Company and moved to St. Helen, MI in 2006 to enjoy retirement. He previously resided in the Canton and Dearborn areas. Earl was a member to the American Legion Post #416 in St. Helen and the Houghton Lake Eagles. He enjoyed high school and college football and spending time with his family.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Penny Campbell of St. Helen; sons, Scott (Lena) Campbell of Holly and Robert (Christy) Campbell of Lake Orion; grandchildren, Logan, Rensle and Madison; sister, Linda (Glenn) Mohney of Hudson, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
