Earl J. Splan

Earl J. Splan age 88 of Prescott, passed away Sunday December 7, 2008 a his home. He had lived in Prescott since 1977, formerly of Union Lake. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and the VFW Post #3774 of Skidway Lake. Earl is survived by his children, Jackie (Ted) Leahy of White Lake, Cheryl (Larry) Hensley, Patti (Joey) Pastoric and Lori (Fred) Pastoric all of Prescott, Jim (Kathy) Splan of Lupton and Jane (Eugene) Arndt of Whittemore. 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and his sister, June Stout of St. Helen also survive. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Mary Shortt will officiate. Burial will take place at Oakland Hills Cemetery in Novi on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
