Earl E. Benjamin

Earl E. Benjamin, age 99, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City, MI. Earl has lived in West Branch his entire life. He was born to James and Adeline Benjamin on August 3, 1914 in Ogemaw County. Earl was a member of Churchill United Methodist Church, North American Hunter Association and NRA. He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. Earl is survived by his three sons; Rolland Benjamin of West Branch, MI, Raymond (Barbara) Benjamin of Swartz Creek, MI, Arvid (Dava) Benjamin of Hale, MI, his 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Benjamin, his brothers; Ray, James, Harvey, Roy and his sister Dolly Schuler. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 2-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Selkirk Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
