Duane L. Headley

Duane L. Headley, age 74 of Estero, Fl and St. Helen, passed away Monday December 12, 2011 at his home. Mr. Headley had lived in Estero, Fl and St. Helen since 1996, formerly of Oxford. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, property development and spending time with his family and friends. Duane is survived by his wife Hazel Headley of Estero, FL, children, Ken (Pam) Headley of Houghton Lake, Angela Holstine of Lapeer and Brandi (Jeff) Kenyon of Ortonville, his stepchildren, Jim (Leslie) Orr of Onaway, Cheryl (John) Clark of Northville and Sandra Greene of Lapeer and his grandchildren, Lisa, Krystal, Duane, Garrett, Kendra, April, Sam, Travis, Joshua, Jason, Nicholas and Haylee and a great-granddaughter Kaci. Also surviving are his brothers, Leon Headley, Ray Headley and Mike Headley, his sister Jessica Williams and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Gerald and Clayton Headley and his sisters, Lola Valentine, Nancy Snyder and Irene Headley. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Pastor Rodney Morrison will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or the American Cancer Society
