Duane I. Havens

Duane I. Havens, age 88 of West Branch, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. Mr. Havens had lived in West Branch since 2008, formerly of Port Huron and Kalamazoo. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the VFW and St. Martin Lutheran Church all of Port Huron. Survivors include his children, Nancy (Legare) Coleman of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Linda (Craig) Cochran of Paw Paw, Karen (Carry) Munce of Granite Falls, WA and Janice (Mike) Berg of Rose City, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Maryann, his parents and a brother. A burial with Military Honors will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
