Douglas Charles Tigner Jr.

Douglas Charles Tigner Jr., age 56, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home in St. Helen, MI surrounded by his family. He was born on August 6, 1966, in Flint, MI to Douglas Sr. and Beverly (Walls-Slater) Tigner. He lived in St. Helen for over 30 years formerly of Flint.

On June 19, 2021, he married Roxanne Raver at Dunham Lake, MI

Doug graduated from Hamady High School in Flint. He began working on cars and started leaning towards the trade of auto body work. He owned Doug’s Auto Body Shop and Auto Repair and specialized in restorations. He was awarded first in a National Mopar competition. Doug enjoyed classic cars, being in the woods and outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, campfires, and shooting pool.

Doug is survived by his wife Roxanne Tigner of St. Helen; son Douglas C. Tigner III of St. Helen; grandson Douglas C. Tigner IV of St. Helen; brother Len (Cheryl) Lason of White Cloud, MI; sisters Pam (Ed) Rousseau of Flint, MI and Betty (Henry) Sanchez of LaBelle, FL; and six nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will begin at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Len Lason will officiate.
