Dorothy M. Glendenning

Dorothy M. Glendenning, age 84 of St. Helen, passed away at Autumn Woods Nursing Home in Warren on Wednesday, July 12, 2006. Mrs. Glendenning had lived in St. Helen since 1986, formerly of St. Clair Shores. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #416, the VFW Auxiliary and Hope Lutheran Church, all of St. Helen. Dorothy is survived by her children, Darryl (Maryanne) Glendenning and Dennis Glendenning all of St. Clair Shores and Deneen Ferguson of Warren, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin in 1998. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, July 14, 2006 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. There will be an American Legion Auxiliary service at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, July 15, 2006, there will be visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Mrs. Glendenning will lie in state at the Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Andrew Gruenhagen will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
