Dorothy I. Hutchins

Dorothy Ida Hutchins, age 87, went to be with Lord, suddenly, December 28, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw. Preceding her in death are her parents, Theophilus and Emma Bez, brother Carl Bez and her husband of 55 years, Sherwood Hutchins. Dorothy was loved and cherished by three sons and four daughters in law, Dr. Kenneth (Marcia)Hutchins of Charlotte, N.C., Eugene (Jane) Hutchins of West Branch, Robert (Barbara) Hutchins of Richmond, MI, and Lorraine Hutchins of Houghton Lake, MI. Dorothy doted on her 12 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren and remembered each on their birthdays. She will be missed also by nephews and nieces Tom and Raymond (Judith) Biggs, Karen Biggs, Nancy (Sam) Cappello, Marlene, Richard and Karen Bez and Loraine (Vaughn)Faber. The entire congregation of Trinity Episcopal Church mourns her passing. Dorothy was very active in her church and loved serving on the Altar Guild , Liturgy Committee and wherever she was needed. She was an avid card player, enjoyed her computer, puzzles and afternoon soaps. A Memorial Service celebrating Dorothy's life will be December 31 at Trinity Church at 11:00 A.M. followed by a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contibutions may be made to the Dorothy Hutchins Memorial Fund at Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 83, West Branch, Michigan 48661.
