Dorothy E. Herman

Dorothy E. Herman age 73 of Prescott, formerly of Utica, died Saturday March 10, at West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch after a brief illness. She was born on January 25, 1934 in Lynch, Kentucky to Jack and Eva (Green) Clore. Dorothy retired from Ford Motor Co. in 1993 after 27 years of service. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 370, Skidway Lake, and The Red Hats Society. Dorothy is survived by a son, Terry J. (Cindy) Herman of Utica, and a stepson Robert D. Herman of Dunedin, FL. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; Chris, Nichole, Terry, Tabatha, Yvette, Dustin, and Faith. There are 5 great-grandchildren; Destiny, Britiany, Andrew, Raven, and Taylor. Also one brother, Marvin Clore of New Baltimore. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2003. Visitation will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, West Branch, Michigan on Tuesday from 2:00P.M. to 9:00P.M. and on Thursday and Friday at the Wujek - Calcaterra Funeral Home, 36900 Schoenherr, at 16 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, Michigan from 2:00P.M. to 9:00P.M.
