Dorothy Amelia Noble, age 83, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Horizon Senior Living in West Branch. She was born on April 5, 1937 in Ruth, MI to George and Agnes (Messing) Hessling. She lived in West Branch since 1959, formerly of Ruth. On September 25, 1954, Dorothy married Eugene Noble in Ruth. She owned and operated West Branch Jewelry from 1978-2016 and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Dorothy enjoyed ceramics, painting, square dancing and traveling.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Doug (Cheryl) Noble of Perrysburg, OH, Roger (Lorna) Noble, Richard (Rhonda) Noble, Michael Noble, Gail (Jeff) Keister, Brian (Kim) Noble and Amy (Kevin) Kopytek all of West Branch; son in law, Joel (Laurie Romatz) Erickson; grandchildren, Sara (Jeremy) Griffin, Jolene (Ben) Fincher, Kimberly (Christopher) Vetter, Heather (Casey) Phelps, Kayla (Kevin) Ahrens, Brei (Thomas) Falkner, Cherie (Brad) Dillon, Shane (Kourtney) Noble, Corey (Kaitlyn) Noble, Rabecka (Dustin) Reetz, Emily (Cody Benjamin) Keister, Jeff Keister Jr., Eric (Robin) Noble, Todd (Melissa) Noble, Jena (Jeff) Freimark, Tanner (Erin) Walker, Kevin Kopytek, Conner Kopytek, Joshua Erickson and Kelsea (Jeremy) Houghton; great grandchildren, Landon, Marshall and Olivia Griffin, Dorothy Fincher, Logan and Lucas Vetter, Gwenyth, Ella and Tyson Phelps, Pierce and Roslyn Ahrens, Elizabeth, Sawyer and Wyatt Falkner, Grady and Leah Dillon, Rylan and Kenley Noble, Jaxson Noble, Jaren, Cato and Ava Houghton, Audrey and Jack Noble, Piper Freimark, Sutton Noble and Rowan Noble; brother in law, Gerald Booms of Ubly; sister in law and her husband, Linda and Gary Schultz of Commerce; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eugene, daughters, Julie Noble and Gina Erickson, sisters, GeorgeAnn Booms and Marilyn Roberts and brother in-law, Raymond Roberts.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private family funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Deacon Glen Painter will officiate.
Visitation will be held with precautions, due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph Catholic School.
