Dorothy A. Klatt, age 82 passed away at her daughters home in National City, where she had lived since 2002, formerly of St. Helen. Dorothy was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary both of St. Helen, a lifetime member of the VFW Childrens Home and a member of MOC (Mock Order of Cooties). She also did volunteer work. Mrs. Klatt is survived by her children, Susan (Frank Brill) Roberts of National City, Tony (Karen) Klatt of Anderson, SC, Tom (Kris) Klatt of Suwannee, GA, 5 grandchildren, David, Jessica (Kevin), Jason (Michelle), Jenifer and Brian and 3 great-grandchildren--Kylie, Amelia and Noel. Also surviving is her sister, Irene Neimenski of Canton. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Sr, her daughter Nancy and her brothers, Richard and James. Visistation at the Steurnol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday June 16, 2005 from 4-9 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 17, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Helen Catholic Church in St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to the VFW National Home.
