Dorothea Lucille Gamm

Dorothea “Lucille” Gamm, age 94, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at The Brook in West Branch, MI. She had lived in Gladwin County for most of her life. Lucille was born on November 17, 1922 in Genesee County, MI to Harry and Florence (Stuck) Lewis. She was a member of the Clement Township Women’s Club, United Methodist Church in Pinconning, MI, and the Good Sam’s Club. She enjoyed playing cards, stitching, and camping. Lucille loved spending time with her family, as they were very important to her.

Lucille is survived by her children, Virginia McKenney of Lansing, MI, Marilyn (Robert) Caple of Raleigh, NC, Louise (Walter) Rathkamp of Linwood, MI, Debra (Dick) Dantzer of West Branch, MI, and Sheila (Joe) Hicks of Coco, FL; daughter in law, Marge Reinke of North Branch, MI; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Florence; husband, Lawrence Gamm; son, Rodger Reinke; and son in law, Carl McKenney.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at McClure Cemetery in Gladwin, MI.
