Doris M. Auer

Doris M. Auer, age 81 of West Branch, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Doris had lived in the West Branch-Rose City area since 1962, formerly of Saginaw. She loved her kids and grandchildren, cooking, camping and visiting her son and his family in Montana. Doris is survived by her children, Tim (Janie) Auer of Libby, Montana, Marsha (Larry) Whisman and Jana Healey both of Rose City and Wendy (Greg) Adamczyk of Twin Lake, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Willis (Janice) Bennett of Gladwin and her sister, Helen (John) Davis of Essexville and several special nieces, nephews and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck in 2003, a grandson and several brothers and sisters. Per her wishes, her body was donated to the Anatomical Donation Program at the University of Michigan. Private family services will be held.
