Donna May Neubecker, age 88 of Alger, passed away suddenly Sunday April 10, 2005 at her home. She had lived in the West Branch area since 1945. She married Clyde Neubecker on July 31, 1937 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Klacking Creek. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and she enjoyed sewing, tatting, gardening and bird watching. Mrs. Neubecker is survived by her children, Kenneth (Mary) Neubecker, Elaine Brennan, Ronald (Carolyn) Neubecker and Brenda (Ronald) Jonsson all of West Branch, David (Sandra) Neubecker of Clio, Larry (Alice) Neubecker and Ruth (Albert) Gildner both of Flint, Edward Neubecker of Hale and Linda (John) Klann of Alger, 25 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and her step brother, Benjamin Holderied of Grand Ledge. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde in 1999 and her three brothers, Cecil and Jerry Rifenburgh and Vern Baker. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday April 12, 2005 from 6-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 12-9 P.M. Also on Wednesday there will be a Scripture Service at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday April 14, 2005 at St. Joseph Church in West Branch. Fr. Richard Seifferly will officate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch.
