Donald Thomas Kelly

Donald T. Kelly, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at The Villa at West Branch. He had lived in West Branch, MI for most of his life. Don was born to Thomas and Vera (Zulaugh) Kelly on December 2, 1934 in Detroit, MI. On April 12, 1991, Don married Sally Wachowski in Las Vegas, NV. He was a member of the Eagles of Houghton Lake, and enjoyed bowling, being around friends, and telling a good joke.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Sally Kelly of West Branch; children, John (Linda) Kelly of Bay City, MI, Paul Kelly of Cadillac, MI, Cheryl (Ron) Guinther of Cass City, MI and Mike Kelly of Lansing, MI; step daughters, Brenda (Helen Kurtin) Kingen of St. Louis, MO, Kim Zygiel of West Branch, Tami Kingen of St. Louis, MO and Kelly (Steve Busch) Kingen of West Branch; 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Vera Kelly; sisters, Dee Malcolm and Bonnie Yax; in laws, Corey and Florence Wachowski; and stepson in law, David Zygiel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagles of Houghton Lake. The family will receive friends after the service until 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
