Mr. Osborne, age 74 of Lupton passed away at his home. He had lived in Lupton since 1971, formerly of Flint. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #8948, a Lay Minister and member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a member of Greenbriar Golf Course and the United Retired Government Employees. He taught Equestrian for both 4-H and high school and he was a Little League Coach. He retired from the Flint Fire Department after 22 years. Mr. Osborne is survived by his wife, Barbara Osborne of Lupton, children--Lori (Mike) Page and Bill (Mary) Osborne both of Lupton, grandchildren--Kelvin, Nathan and Kaitlyn, a brother, Gerald Osborne of Flint, sisters, Imogene (Al) Moughner of South Carolina and Renell Lucius of Flint and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Elizabeth Osborne and his brother William. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday June 16, 2004 from 6-9 P.M. and Thursday from 12-9 P.M. There will be a K of C Rosary at 7:00 P.M. and a Scripture Service at 8:00 P.M. Mr. Osborne will lie in state at Holy Family Catholic Church near West Branch on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1:00 P.M. Fr. Miro Wiese will officiate with burial following at Holy Family Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
