Donald J. Smith

Mr. Smith passed away at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. He had been a resident of West Branch for most of his life. He was a member of the Wildwood Whirlers, the Good Sam Club, the Emergency Assistance Center and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Smith is survived by his sons--Randy Smith and Lyle (Irene) Smith both of West Branch, Don "Junior" Smith of Prescott and David (Eleanor) Smith of Henderson NV, a grandson R. Scott Smith of West Branch, brothers--Laverne (Fay) Smith of Chelsea and Robert Smith of Flint and a sister, Theresa (Walt) Randall of Shelby Township. He was preceded in death by his wife Olith. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday January 27, 2004 from 2-9 P.M. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Mire D. Wiese will officate with burial at Holy Family Cemetery.
