Donald Edgar Pocock

Donald E. Pocock, age 96 of West Branch, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Brian’s House in Bay City. Donald was born December 31, 1915 in Detroit, the son of Fredrick and Anna Pocock. He married Jane Davison October 3, 1942 in Roswell, New Mexico. Donald had lived in West Branch since April 2012, formerly of Highland Beach, Fl where he resided for 38 years. Donald was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. He served in WWII and retired Lt. Col. in the Air Force. Donald is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Jane of West Branch, son, Don (Laurie) Pocock of Plymouth, daughter, Barbara Krogulecki of West Branch, grandchildren, Brady Pocock of Northville, Christopher (Stephanie) Pocock of Tampa, FL, Sara Pocock of Plymouth, Katie (Josh) Brunner of Columbus, OH, Kevin Krogulecki of Lansing, and 3 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 am with family receiving friends from 10:00 am until time of Mass. Father Patrick Maher will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Brian’s House, 3140 W. Campus Drive, Bay City, MI 48706 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
