Donald Dombrowski

Donald Dombrowski, age 76 of St. Helen, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at his home. Donald was born in Saginaw, Michigan to Anthony and Cecelia (Hauffa) Dombrowski on March 2, 1936. He had lived in St. Helen since 1979. Don loved being in the woods, snowmobiling and raced snowmobiles in his earlier years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and granddaughters. Don is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (Jezak), of 56 years; his daughter, Diane (Frederick) Nielsen and granddaughters, Wendy and Shauni Nielsen. Also surviving are brothers, David Dombrowski of Bay City and Marian Dombrowski of Three Rivers. Don was preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Cecelia Dombrowski. A Celebration of Life Service at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, Michigan will begin on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends from 10:00 AM until time of service. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
