Donald D. Wolfgang Sr.

Donald DeWayne Wolfgang Sr., age 90, went home to heaven peacefully Friday, May 10, 2019 in Auburn, MI. Donald was born on September 2, 1928 in Breckenridge, MI to Sidney and Clara (Miller) Wolfgang. He had lived in West Branch for the past 10 years previously of Bay City. He married Phyllis M. Gibelyou in Sterling, MI on March 17, 1951. Donald ministered for 47yrs as a Nazarene Pastor. Ministering in West Branch, Weidman, Cadillac and Bay City, areas, after retiring he served as the pastor of Zion Church of the Brethren in Prescott, MI. He was a US Airforce veteran serving during WWII from 1946-1949. Donald enjoyed fishing hunting, and spending time with his family. He served the Lord faithfully, and is now finally Home.

Surviving family include his wife Phyllis of 68 years, his daughter Dixie (Larry) Loy of Roswell, New Mexico, son Donald (Connie) Wolfgang Jr. of West Branch, and son Jon Wolfgang of West Branch. He has several grandchildren, great grandchildren, two brothers Roy (Sandy) Wolfgang of California, and Sidney (Barbara) Wolfgang of Sterling, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Ilah Stol, and Norma Mahn.

A memorial service for Donald will be held at a later date by his son Donald Jr.
