Dolores Helen Olive

Dolores Helen Olive, age 73, passed away at her home in St. Helen, MI on Friday, September 2, 2016 with her husband by her side. Dee was born on November 24, 1942 in Detroit, MI to Edward and Mary (Miesiaczek) Humbarger. She had lived in St. Helen for the past 22 years previously of Washington. Dee loved to read, cook, knit and be in her garden, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Dee is survived by her husband of 56 years James Olive of St. Helen, daughter Barbara (Kevin) Green of West Branch, and son Robert (Joann Jones) Olive of Prudenville; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Anthony, Christina, Trisha, and Ashley, along with several great grandchildren. Her sister Rose also survives her. She is preceded in death by her parents, and 6 siblings.

Dolores’s wishes were to have her ashes buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. A committal service will be held in her honor.
