Diane Marie Jackson

Diane M. (Neubecker) Jackson, age 48, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at The Villa at West Branch after a long 10 year battle with MS. She was born on April 5, 1970 in West Branch to David and Mary Ann (Gingrich) Neubecker. Diane has lived in West Branch all her life. She graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 1989. She married Sam Jackson in West Branch in 2000 in a double wedding with her sister and brother in law. Diane was a member of the Catholic Council of Women and St. Joseph Catholic Church where she sang in the choir for 15 years and for weddings. She also played the guitar in the church choir. She worked at Bortz in Rose City as a CNA for 14 years and West Branch Regional Medical Center for 2 years.

Diane is survived by her husband, Sam Jackson of West Branch; daughter, Kaylee Jackson of West Branch; parents, David and Mary Ann Neubecker of West Branch; sister, Nancy (Todd) Mousseau of Alpena; brother, Allen (Angie) Neubecker of West Branch; nephews, Connor, Ethan, Carter, Owen and Aiden; aunt, Joan Mannor of West Branch; longtime friend up to the end, Tammy Benjamin of West Branch; and many other close friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Agnes Neubecker, Clyde “Mutt” and Irene Gingrich and uncle, Kirk Mannor.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3-9 p.m. with a rosary at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.
