Dennis R. Hodder

Dennis Robert Hodder, age 66, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at his home in St. Helen, MI. Dennis has lived in St. Helen for 12 years, previously of Sebewaing, MI. He was born to Frank L. and Helen M. (Erbisch) Hodder on January 4, 1948 in Pigeon, MI. Dennis married Cathy Lentner on May 14, 1982 in Sebewaing and last year celebrated 31 years of marriage. He worked for Tower Automotive (Active Automotive) for 34 years before retiring in St. Helen. Dennis enjoyed fishing, Detroit Tigers Baseball and spending time with his family.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Cathy of St. Helen, MI; daughter: Heather (Trever) Henne of Cass City, MI; son: Michael (Monica McDonell) Hodder of Denver, Co; grandchildren: Mariah and Caleb Henne; brothers: Ralph (Cindy) Hodder of Sebewaing, MI, Charles (Vi) Hodder of Deford, MI, Robert (Kathy) Hodder of Sebewaing, MI; sisters: Cheryl (Ron) Apley of Gagetown, MI, Mary (Don) Jahr of Sebewaing, MI; brother-in-laws: Jim Forbing and George Barrett; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gary Hodder; and sisters: Linda Barrett and Sally Forbing.
Visitation will be at Juengel Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, MI on Saturday, April 26, 2014 starting at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
