Delton E. Jones

Delton E. Jones passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 in Grayling, MI he was 72 years old. Delton had lived in Luzerne for 25 years previously of Marlette. He was a member of the SAL in Luzerne and the Moose Lodge in Mio. Delton enjoyed trips to the casino, bowling, playing horseshoes, playing cards, shooting pool, being outdoors and hunting. Delton is survived by his sons Bill (Sue) Schott of Luzerne, Bob (Judy) Schott of Marlette, and Larry (Elsie) Schott of Clifford. Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Six sisters Beatrice Harneck of Kingston, Myrtle Diegel of Luzerne, Lois (Jerry) Tallieu of Luzerne, Ruth Foster of Marlette, Marge (Albert) Foote of Marlette and Donna Price of Georgia. Sister-in-law Peggy Jones of Marlette, and brother-in-law Herb Gerstenberger of Sandusky. Delton is preceded in death by his wife Arlene in 2006 a brother Alvin and a sister Thelma. Delton’s wishes were to be cremated, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
