Delores Marie Shore, age 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at her home in West Branch with her family by her side. She was born on July 9, 1921 in West Branch to Urban and Alvena (Beck) Craft. Dilly had lived in West Branch her entire life. She volunteered for the Ogemaw County Sheriff Posse and the West Branch Regional Medical Center for over 25 years. She was a member of the St. Helen Snow Packers and the Rebekah’s. Dilly enjoyed playing cards and bingo, flowers, being around people and spending time with her family.
Dilly is survived by her children, Margaret Killinger of West Branch, Gary (Sue) Shore of Port Charlotte, FL, and Linda Randell of Prudenville; 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 25 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren; and sisters, Florence Illig of Gladwin and Sharon Enos of Tawas City. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Shore, son, Jerry Shore, daughter, Gloria Bird, granddaughter, Natalie Kelly, grandsons, Kyle Ware and Kelvin Shore, 5 sisters and 5 brothers, and dear friend, Charles Schwab.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 23,2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Harvey Fry will officiate. Burial will be at Edwards Township Cemetery.
