Delorain Caroline Marchell

DeLorain Caroline Marchell, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Prescott, MI. She had lived in Ogemaw County for most of her life, formerly of Livonia, MI. DeLorain was born to William and Norma (Allan) Miller on April 17, 1928 in Churchill Township, MI. While living in Livonia, she worked for Ford Motor Company for 29 years and then returned to Ogemaw County in 1985. DeLorain was a member at the Holy Family Catholic Church and enjoyed knitting and shopping. She had a close group of friends that she did everything with and would do anything for.

DeLorain is survived by her brothers, Russell (Judy) Miller of Prescott, MI and Richard Miller of Roscommon, MI; step daughter, Rosanne (Michael) Ingals of Manistee, MI; grandchildren, John Scoby of Manistee, MI, Leo Scoby of Adrian, MI and Gene Scoby of Adrian, MI; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
