David Michael Gildner, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Tawas Manor in East Tawas, MI. He was born on November 7, 1942 in West Branch, MI to Herbert and Iva (Benjamin) Gildner. David was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. He was raised on the family farm and continued to work there for the majority of his life. His whole life revolved around farming and he loved it.
David is survived by his siblings, Marjorie Gildner of Naples, FL, Doug (Corrine) Gildner of Prescott, MI, Catherine Gildner of Burton, MI, Jeanette Gildner of West Branch, MI and Mary (Kenneth) Neubecker of West Branch; sister in law, Darlene Gildner of West Branch; 10 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and great nephews, and several extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Roy and Cecil Gildner.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.
