David Carl Becker

David Carl Becker, 84, of St. Helen, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024, at home, with his wife Karen by his side. Dave was born on February 28, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Carl T. Becker and Helen H. Becker (Kowalka). Dave's community spirit and leadership skills became evident and continued to develop throughout his adult life. 

Dave was active in 4-H and FFA, president of Ohio Young Farmers, served on the Farm Bureau Council, and spent 20 years on Eastwood School Board. Dave served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp and remained deeply patriotic throughout his life. 

After moving to St. Helen, Dave's passions broadened to include becoming owner/broker of Exit 222 Real Estate, joining the Goldwing RoadRiders Association, and serving as president of the St. Helen Snowpackers Association. 

Dave loved traveling the US, camping, gardening, being with old friends and making new acquaintances. 

In addition to his wife Karen and her children and grandchildren, he is survived by his daughter Beth Becker of Ohio, a step sister Maryanne Eggert, and a half sister, Kris Obliske. 

The family will hold a private graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen.
