Darline Irene Happ

Darline Irene Happ, age 71, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. She had lived in St. Helen, MI since 2002, formerly of Redford, MI. Darline was born on October 11, 1946 in Detroit, MI to George and Leona (Korth) St. Peter. She was a member at the Grace Moravian Church in Westland, where she helped with VBS and volunteered as much as they needed. Darline was very talented and crafty. She enjoyed making clothing for her grandchildren, sewing, ceramics and traveling.

Darline is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ed Happ of St. Helen, MI; daughter, Laura (Michael) Hayden of White Lake, MI; son, John (Michelle) Happ of Waterford, MI; grandchildren, Kailah, Cody, Chad and Nicole; sisters, Diane (Richard) Cook of Canton, MI, Beverly Galea of Fraser, MI, and Audy Ayers of Carlton, MI; brothers, Bill Roberts of Wayne, MI, Bob Roberts of FL, and Dan Roberts of Wayne, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Edward Happ III, brothers, Richard St. Peter and Tom St. Peter, and grandson, Gage Happ.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Rodney Morrison will officiate.
