Dannis (Dan) D. Johnson

Dannis (Dan) D. Johnson 67, of West Branch died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Bay Medical Center, Bay City. Born on May 10, 1938 to Harrold and Allene (Hagen) Johnson in Dupree, South Dakota. He married Nancy I. Tereau on May 17, 1968 in Clio, Michigan. She survives. Also surviving is a daughter Joni Stillwagon (John) of West Branch. 3 sons, Raymond Johnson (Kathy) of Clio, Raymond Shelley (Lori) of Rose City, and Lynn Johnson of St. Helen. Dan also has 6 grandchildren; Matthew Johnson, Kyle Shelley, Courtney and Kelsey Stillwagon, Laura Johnson and Kaelyn Shelley.Also surviving are 3 sisters; Alice Burke of Marksville, Louisiana, Cheryl Williams of Pierre, South Dakota,and Ruth Arellano of Clawson, Michigan.3 brothers Boyd Burke of Canon City Colorado Patrick Burke (Vickie) of Gypsum, Colorado and Lynn Burke of Maryland. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Allene Burke and an infant brother. Dan has lived in the West Branch area since 1971 and retired from West Branch Tank and Trailer in 2004. The family will be receiving friends at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch from 2PM to 9PM on Sunday.
