Daniel J. Wilber

Daniel Jason Wilber, age 23, passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Dan had lived in Farmington Hills for the past 6 years, formerly of Rose City. He was a 1999 graduate of Ogemaw Heights High School and a 2003 graduate of Lawrence Tech. University with a bachelors degree in civil engineering. Dan was employed by Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment Inc. of Livonia. He enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, watching and playing sports. The one thing he loved most was being around all of those he cared for. Surviving family members include his parents, Jerry and Beth (Fish) Wilber of Rose City, sisters, Angie (Dean) Thompson of DeWitt, Pam Wilber and Amanda Wilber both of Mt. Pleasant, his grandpa, Clarence Fish of Waite Park, MN, grandma, Carla Wilber of Rose City, and his girlfriend, Kerri Prediger of Indian River. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of the family that played an important role in Dan’s life. He was preceded in death by his grandma Jeanette Fish and grandpa Thomas Wilber. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 15, 2005 from 6-9 PM and Friday, September 16, 2005 from 12-9PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday September 17, 2005 at 11:00AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church 403 W. Peters Road. Dan’s uncle, Pastor Mike Fish will officiate. The family requests that in lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions be made in memory of Dan to a scholarship fund that the family is starting in his memory.
