Dakota Carrie Anne Parrish, 3 months old passed away November 13, 2012 in her mother’s arms. Dakota was a special little girl that touched so many people’s heart. Dakota is survived by her mother Sarah, her grandparents Ron and Annie Parrish, her Aunt Carrie and her Uncle James. Her Great Grandmother Melvia Buckel, Her Great Grandfather Richard Shutter, and her Great, Great Grandmother Beatrice Kartes. Many Great Aunts and Uncles. Many special people who impacted Dakota’s life who are too numerous to mention. She was preceded in death by her Great Grandfather Edward Buckel and her Great Grandmother Dorothy Shutter and her Great Great Grandfather Steve Kartes and her little buddy Jake. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 12-9 p.m. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. On Monday, Dakota will lie in state at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
