Cynthia June Andrea Magoon, age 45, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Faith Hospice Trillium Woods in Byron City, MI. She had lived in Cedar Springs, MI for the past 20 years, formerly of St. Helen, MI. Cynthia was born on June 9, 1972 in Manistique, MI to David and Virginia (McGahan Homan) King Sr. She graduated from Roscommon High School in 1990 and attended Faith Alive Church in St. Helen. She enjoyed photography, drawing, writing poems, karaoke, and volunteering with the Sunday School Missionettes.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband, Daryl Magoon of Cedar Springs, MI; parents, Virginia and Dan Homan of St. Helen, MI; children, Daryl J. Magoon, Nathan Libby, Jessica Magoon, and Nicholas Magoon; brothers, David King Jr., Allen (Kelly) King, and John Homan; grandchildren, Baily and Phoenix; and grandmother, Louella Bretheaur. She is preceded in death by her sister, Rita Burke.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Faith Alive Church, 1709 N. St. Helen Rd. in St. Helen on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen. Pastor William Geiger will officiate.
