Clyde R Fahringer Jr.

Clyde R Fahringer Jr. passed away October 16, 2009 at the West Branch Regional Medical Center, he was 77 years old. Clyde was born June 21, 1932 in East Detroit, Michigan. He lived in West Branch for 11 years and was previously from East Detroit. Clyde enjoyed campfires and grilling. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was one of the “Chosen Few”. Clyde is survived by his wife of 54 years Nancy Fahringer of West Branch. He was preceded in death by his son Dale, father Clyde, and brother Charles. Clyde’s wishes were to be cremated with no memorial service. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, November 4th at 1:00 p.m. with full military honors next to his son at the Grand Traverse Memorial Cemetery in Traverse City.
