Claude R. Cornwell

Claude R. Cornwell, age 73, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2006 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Mr. Cornwell lived in West Branch since 1990, formerly of Westland. He and his wife Charlotte were married 49 years ago on September 29, 1956. Claude was a member of the Eagles of Secord Lake, V.F.W. and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, fishing and traveling. Surviving family members include Claude’s wife Charlotte, son David (Sandy) Cornwell of Canton, son Thomas (Dorris) Cornwell of Durand, daughter Deborah (Tim) Kelley of Livonia and grandchildren Suzanne, David, Danny, Nate, Amy, Travis, Tristen, Matt, Jennifer and Jacob. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2006, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Branch with Rev. Andrew Gruenhagen officiating.
