Clarence "Shiner" Noble, 74, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Bay Special Care in Bay City, MI. Clarence has been a resident of Lupton, Mi for the past 6 years previously of Canton, MI. Clarence belonged to the Michigan Taxidermy Association and the NRA. He also is a member of the Light House Baptist Church. Clarence is a world-renowned taxidermist and has won many awards and trophies for his work. Some of which can be found at the Smithsonian Museum. He specialized in waterfowl and was a judge for many competitions. Some of Clarence's loves were his 3 dogs Molli, Polli, and Tobbi, raising wood ducks and pheasants, bluegrass music and playing the guitar. He could also be found hunting and fishing in his past time. Clarence is survived by his wife Rosemarie of Lupton, his 11 children, 39 grand children and 22 great grand children. Sister June Anderson of Louisville, Ky; and brother Mickey Noble of Hazard, Ky. He is preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Myrtle and brothers and sisters Bobbie Jean, Jackie, Bud, William "Tiny", and Ruth. Visitation for Clarence will be held Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 1-7PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City. The funeral will be held Monday June 2, 2008 at 11:00AM at the funeral home in Rose City. Burial will follow at the Lupton Friends Cemetery in Lupton, MI. Dr. Roger Luther, Pastor will officiate.
