Clarence J. DeBuck, age 84 of Rose City, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at his home. Clarence had lived in Rose City since 1960. Clarence married Eleanor F. VanThomme on May 1, 1946 in Roseville, MI. Clarence was a truck gardener in Macomb County until 1960 and moved to Rose City where he was a Dairy Farmer for 18 years. He wintered in Yuma, AZ for 23 years. Clarence is survived by wife, Eleanor F. of Rose City, daughter, Mary (Earl) Grezeszak of West Branch, daughter, Jeanne (Dale) Teeples of Rose City, son, Raymond (Jo Ann) DeBuck of Attica, MI, daughter, Shirley (Richard) Nelson of West Branch, son, Joseph (Phyllis) DeBuck of East Tawas, daughter, Sharon (Robert) Fetters of Sterling, daughter, Lorraine (Scott) Munn of West Branch, and daughter-in-law, Linda Rhodes of Big Lake, Alaska. Also surviving are 28 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Francis “Frank” DeBuck, grandson, Wesley Grezeszak, great-grandson, Gage Fetters, and 2 brothers. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin Friday, March 12, 2010 from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. Clarence will lie in state Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. until the time mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Father Patrick will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands.
