Christopher R. Caldwell

Christopher R. Caldwell, age 31 of St. Helen, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Christopher had lived in St.Helen since 1996, formerly of Lapeer. He was a member of the VFW Post #5680, the K of C, the Civic Association and the St. Helen Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed bingo and he volunteered for bingo and the church. Christopher is survived by his parents, Ray and Sharrel Caldwell of Lapeer; brothers, Nickolas Caldwell and Cory (Jennifer) Caldwell both of Burton, his partner, Eric Walmsley of St. Helen; grandparents, Leo Bragg of St. Helen and Minnie Caldwell of Warm Springs, Arkansas; nephew, Austin Caldwell of Burton, niece, Tiffanie Jackson of Tennessee and his Godparents, Ralph Bragg of Flint and Lynn Gilliam of Mt. Morris and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Janis Bragg and his grandpa, Charles Caldwell. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, December 29, 2005 from 5-9 pm and Friday from 1-9 pm. A K of C Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at St. Helen Catholic Church in St. Helen, MI. Father Robert Bissot will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
