Christine A. Romps

Christine Ann Romps, age 21 of St. Helen, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012. Christine had lived in St. Helen for most of her life. She enjoyed horseback riding and was a member of 4-H and the Equestrian Team and she enjoyed raising and showing rabbits. Christine was a hairstylist, a member of Arba and she enjoyed giving hugs; she loved life. Christine is survived by her parents, Chris and Darlene Romps of St. Helen, sisters, Lanelle (Mike) Brown of St. Helen, T.J. (Guy) Held of Gold Cannon, AZ and Kenna Romps of St. Helen and her brother Christopher Romps Jr. of St. Helen. Also surviving are her grandparents, Ken and Barb Lynk of St. Helen, her nieces Olivia, Kourtni and Chelsea and her uncles Robert Romps (Craig Whipple) of St. Helen, Russ Clark, Tom Romps and Frank Romps, her aunt Diane Huren and her aunt and uncle Debbie and Denny Conrad. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Barbara Romps, her uncle Ken Lynk and her aunt Norene Romps. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Barry Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
