Cheryl T. (Cook) Daughenbaugh, a beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on February 17th, 2025 in West Branch Michigan after a courageous 3yr. battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Loretta Cook, and her sisters, Elaine Cummings and Verna Cook.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Sam Daughenbaugh; elder brother Lonnie Cook; her daughters, Theresa (Shawn) Roche, Elizabeth Babcock, Karen Reily, and Christine (Cliff) St. Louis; her cherished grandchildren, Eric, Deanna, Bryce, Jaylie, Jon (Sarah) Vincent ,Gabrielle, Kenny, Jeremiah, Alex, Autumn, Gabe, Zoe, Kaden, Brianna, and, Jake; and 2 great grandchildren, Roland, and Isaac.
Cheryl had a deep love for the farm (fondly named Miz Fits Farm), finding joy and peace in the simple beauty of country life. Whether tending to her farm or caring for animals, she found solace and fulfillment in the world she built around her.
Cheryl’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and selflessness. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in the spring for family and friends to gather. Details to be announced at a later time.
May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
