Cherilyn Rae Fay

Cherilyn Rae Fay, age 70, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. Cherilyn has lived in St. Helen since 1983, formerly from Flint, MI. She was born on September 19, 1943 to Dale and Nina (Redburn) Simon in Flint, MI. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going on casino trips, deer hunting, spending time with friends, her dogs and her grandchildren. Cherilyn married Charles Fay on April 17, 1964 in Flint, MI. Cherilyn is survived by her loving husband, Charles Fay of St. Helen, MI; children: Tim Fay of Ocean Springs, MS, Tracey Fay of St. Helen, MI, Charles S. Fay of Baldwin, MI, Curtis Fay of St. Helen, MI, Dale Fay of St. Helen, MI; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and brother: Gary (Lynn) Simon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Nina and great grandson, Gavin Fay. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 2-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Society.
