Charles Wm. Schank Sr., age 88, of Rose City died November 26, 2005 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in Rose City since 1948 previously of Flint. He was born to John W. and Eva (Chard) Schank. Mr. Schank was a Navy veteran and served during WWII. He enjoyed outdoor activities including camping, fishing and especially walking. He also enjoyed his many family visits and coffee with friends. Mr. Schank is survived by his 4 daughters Dorothy Trier of Washington, Il; Diane (Allen) Tinker of West Branch, MI; Suzanne (Bill) Bratton of Luzerne, MI; and Carol Schank of Flint, MI. There are many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife- Margaret O. (Merritt) Schank, son- Charles W. Schank, Parents- John and Eva Schank, step-father- Ford McBride, sister- Dorothy Byrne and brother- Frank Schank. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 11:00AM from the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City. Family will receive friends on Tuesday prior to the services from 10-11AM. Burial will follow at the Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris on Tuesday at 1:30PM. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Salvation Army National Headquarters P.O.
